Dinner and conversation at Tricias home was delightful. Jessica, Alayna, Anna, Chemiya, Katie, Justine, Olivia, and I enjoyed wonderful dinner, dessert, and drink. Our topics of conversation covered everything from Patriarchial vs. Matriarchial leadership, music memories which invokes strong emotions, things that make us laugh and favorite movies and books. I look forward to doing this again soon and sharing these friendships with others. I truly believe these are the kinds of settings where we will see God move in wonderful ways!
Tonight the Schaeffers and Martinezs enjoyed an informal supper at the Broadlind "Upper Room" where we invited a few close friends from Orange County. These are dear friends who support Grace Harbor either in prayer or financially. We attempted to share with the Strezas, Messengers, Mishrekis, and Kaaren Juggert all that the Lord is doing in and through Grace Harbor. Carl Messenger also suggested compiling and sending out a weekly newsletter which would be sent to everybody we know and could possibly be used to solicit financial support in all that God is doing through our neighborhood groups, the Broadlind Cafe, and the city in general. Lisa Good was also invited but was unable to attend.
